Hi. I would like to purchase an Milennia MIL-REMHBREM to upgrade the sounds on my LT but Crutchfields in VA will not ship overseas. I was wondering if any of my fellow K enthusiasts would be so kind as to let me ship it to them and then have it shipped to me?

If any one has any other suggestions on remote handle bar controls for a media player I'm all ears.

Many thanks
Bondie

Welcome to K11OG!

I'd be happy to ship it to you. I'm assuming you'd handle online payment for the unit, have it shipped to me, then all I have to do is get it to you.

That looks like a pretty nice remote - should look good on a K bike - leads could be a little longer - you end up making a connection under the dashpad - if you're lucky.

Send me an email, please - click the email button below my signature.

Nice set up there, Bondie. Head unit and remote look really good.

Maybe you can post the part numbers up in case anyone else is interested in getting the same thing.

What kind of speakers do you have at the OEM location? And what speakers are you using in the sides?

Happy to help...

Thanks Jim, works well until the wind noise gets to much, but its way better than Ive had before. Infinity PRV250 with Milennia handle bar remote. 2 x Kenwood 4 inch where the OEM speakers live & 2 x Harmon Kardon 6 inch Speakers mounted in the fairing box's. One annoying draw back: the media player holds the presets for the radio ok, but not the USB when the power/ignition is cut, it reverts back to the first track of the USB & you can only scroll through a track at a time. I gunna have a crack at using me phone to bluetooth music to the media player.

By the By, I picked up a really nice OEM tank bag with the yellow pipeing of Fleabay from the UK for GBP45. Didnt come with the bottom fixing brackets so Im trying cable ties? Any one any ides on a way to solve the "tank bag missing bracket dilemma?"

I was looking into those clips a while back and they are pretty hard to come by anymore. NLA as far as BMW goes.
Motobins and Motoworks are out of stock.
You might check with some bike breakers.

thank you gentlemen, i suspect ill have to manufacture the brackets, but the cable ties work well, just means theres a huge gap between the bottom of the petrol tank and top of the side panel Confused

I may have found them at a multi brand dealer in France - can't tell much about it though - I only know maybe two words of French. Every time I clicked anything, the translation would go away - and I was back to French. Since most websites work the same way - you can sort of tell where to click - I ordered some - even though they don't have the US on their list of countries they ship to.

We'll see what happens. Since the bikes were sold there until '99, I guess there's a slightly better chance someone might have some left.

Also checking with a multi brand dealer in Canada.

I bought a set of clips years ago after I got my 2nd bike, not realizing that when I bought the full tank bag from BMW that it came with a set of clips.
Since then I have sold/gave them away as I didn't need them.

France was a bust! And it looks like they don't want to send me a refund... YIKES!

Canada was out - but I'll keep looking. Might try to get some made... Could happen. I'll know more about that in a week or two.

Turns out the refund department was closed for a holiday - or the whole country was on holiday - or something like that. The refund finally came through.

Still poking around, trying to see what I can find... Will be at the shop to visit the K bikes Thursday - will check with the mechanic to see if his machine shop or metal shop can knock some of those out. I'll let you know.

Bondie - the guy who's working on my K's is going to check with his metal shop.

I'm going to get a price - see about a limited run. If the price isn't over the moon, I'll have him run 10 or 20 sets - then hope I can sell them...

If your guy can make them, let me know, please.

I'm still working on it here - haven't given up hope yet. Mechanic thinks he has a guy who can make them - these things take time...

If someone can post up a couple of pictures to show the clips better than the parts fiche it is a good possibility I can make them. I'll know when I see a better image.

Hi Getlunch

Thanks for your interest. I'm guessing with out a template you'd need to sculpt them to a petrol tank.

I cant figure out how to put up a photo hear so here is the url for them:
