Holy Crap! HMX is next week! Thinking about doing a boston butt of the Egg this weekend so we won't starve.
How many empty bunks? I've mentioned it to a few people but didn't know how much room there is.
I have a little oil oozing from he oil pump. I just saw a link to John's write up. Assuming we had a rain day is that a rain day repair? I'd just need to order gaskets and such, soon. _________________ 2014 R1200RT Water Cooled

Just now seeing the 10 day forecast and it looks good for the start, highs in the upper 60's, low's in the 50's and dry, starting Tuesday and Wednesday that week...
We'll see what develops. Supposed to be upper 80's here this weekend.
Mama Chuck, we'll take all the pork you can bring... _________________ Steve

Oh, and I brought back some Italian spice packs for "homemade" Spaghetti sauce, from Italy, cause I'm like that. Will bring them along and do a Spaghetti dinner one night. The pulled pork works good for lunch because it reheats well. Will bring crockpot for Chicken noodle soup lunch as well.
Looking forward to a few days away and seeing you misfits. Tax season, and the DOL debacle was NUTS! _________________ 2014 R1200RT Water Cooled

Speaking of food...
In honor of HMX and the great memories and friends from the past ten years, I have made arrangements for a catered breakfast spread to be delivered to the lodge for Friday morning by the local Marion bakery Four Seasons Bakery and Catering. http://www.fourseasonsswva.com/index.php
A simple breakfast spread of Bacon, Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Biscuits and Gravy, some fruit and maybe some baked goods. All provided by a generous corporate contribution from Eclipse Services Inc. (that's me..)

Ok, SWMBO has said that I can bring a bottle of HuliHuli sauce, to marinate some chicken. We'll have to grill chicken and or steaks on Friday night. This stuff is magic after chicken marinates a couple of days. We brought it back from Hawaii in February. That make you guys pretty special... _________________ 2014 R1200RT Water Cooled

Ok,, no pulled pork this year, instead I'm bringing a 10 pound box of Pork Riblets. There are thin and will cook quick on the gas grill one night. Left over Easter ham for some Potato and ham soup in the crockpot for lunch. Hull Huli Chicken for dinner 2. Assuming we do Mexican the first night, and the Lodge dinner the last night as has become custom. Dinner all four nights is covered.
The soup and Spaghetti covers lunch, Steve has one breakfast covered and we got breakfast out once or twice last year on the way to a ride.
Hoping for good weather... _________________ 2014 R1200RT Water Cooled

G'evening all...
This extreme weather REALLY sucks,,, 50mph winds and rain. i'm "holed up" and not even out of VT yet !.. Hoping it goes better tomorrow and the road is at least rideable...everyone else if you're caught in this band of extreme weather parallel to or on I-81, be xtra cautious ride as safe as safe can be ! I may be later than planned but still on Wednesday...
See you all then.eh!......../ Ernie in NH _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

Hey Ernie, looking at the radar, you guys up there are definitely getting the worst of it. Not so much down here yet, but some storms coming in later tonight.
All this should pass by tomorrow and then clear on Wednesday(!) and then wet and cool after that. Bring your rain gear Mothers! _________________ Steve
