|
|
I'm preparing a K1200RS engine unit for installing in my K100 16V chassis.
The K1200 engine has a complete clutch assembly with it, plus I've the complete clutch assembly from the K100 16V bike.
I will be using the intermediate flange from the K100 16V along with it's gearbox, but am not sure which clutch assembly to use.
They look like they would both work, although I suspect the K1200 assembly may be stronger.
Could anyone who's done this conversion offer any advice, please?
Thanks. |

I briefly owned a K1100RS with a K1200LT engine. I have a document with some notes the prior owner wrote up on doing the conversion.
PM me your emaill if you're interested and I'll send you a copy of the Word document. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

| Thanks for the link, mine is just an engine replacement as my K100 16V uses a single carburettor, not the original injection, so other than a bit of re-jetting, I won't have the problems he encountered! |
