Yes Scott.
I saw this on a few forums.
Now if we can just make M-a-r-i-o-n disappear from the must do roads.
We have to take that sign down........
4-1/2 mos. to go.

Wow..was that the full road? I mean the video was the total Dragon's Tail?
And here I thought it was a lot of turns. I guess it isn't as bad a beast as I thought. _________________ Mike Gullery

Well the first video was not the Gap. The second 2.5 minute one was a part of the Gap, and yes that yellow Wing rider knew the road. The whole Gap takes a lot more than 3 minutes to cover between the store and the bridge. _________________ 93 K1100RS (2up)

You bet that GW rider knows the road. He goes by the name "Yellow Wolf", like it says.
He flat out HAULS, hanging off the bike and leaving sport bikes behind.
IIRC, he did an Iron Butt (1000 miles in 24 hrs) on the Dragon. Over 100 complete "laps". Over 30,000 corners. _________________ John & Cathy

He should not get a IBC credit for that. It is against the rules. _________________ 1997 K1100LT

You are not allowed to run loops or short roads multiple times. You may run the same road, like Rt. 95 one way for 500 miles and then back, but you are not allowed to do the same road multiple times. _________________ 1997 K1100LT

Even if it didn't qualify for an official "Iron Butt" ride I'd say the achievement was more difficult than a sanctioned 1000 mile ride. Hard physically and mind numbing as well. _________________ Paul W.
