From this forum, I was given some pretty good information and I took the time to go through every detail. The wiring diagram gave me the information I needed to confirm one thing, the ABS relay is not closing.

As I figured out, the ABS control module provides power from pin 17 to pin 86 on the relay. If I power pin 17, the relay closes and I would assume that since all the sensors and actuators are electrically fine, I should have ABS when the relay closes. Providing of course the mechanical guts are working.

Question I have is pretty straightforward: When you turn the key on with a bike with ABS1, does the ABS relay close?

If you are wondering, the ABS relay is on the spark-plug side of the bike, in the relay box under the tank, most forward one. Mine is blue.

Any comments will be appreciated.
