Weird as hell.
When I replaced my battery recently, I entered the wrong code into my radio. Ever since then, it displays the same numbers that I entered, even though I have removed and replaced the radio in it's mount/power supply several times. It won't show any new numbers if the buttons are pressed.
It's just locked up.
Has anyone encountered this problem before or is it time to look for a used one?

Hello,
Quote from the manual "!f you make a mistake while entering the code, press and hold the band (BAND) switch until the code numbers disappear from the display. Then enter the correct code."
If this doesn't work try holding the"ST" button until the numbers disappear.
One of the above should do it.
Hope that helps.
Best regards,

Now I feel really stupid.
Of course, Dave, your suggestion worked.
I've owned K1100LTs since 2000 and never encountered this problem before.
Never thought to look in the owner's manual.
That's one less thing bugging me now.
Many thanks.
