Kudos to Overseas Speedometer service. I got my '95 speedometer back from them today about ten days after I shipped it to them in Austin, TX. Fast service, working fine, reasonable cost and good communication with them. I recommend highly. So I spent a couple hours removing the '94 speedometer from my '95 and putting it back in the '94 then reinstalling the '95 speedo back into the '95.
I can tell you it isn't a lot of fun removing and installing a speedometer unit into a K1100LT. One very handy thing to have is a small magnetic pick up tool. It makes it easy to remove screw and bolts without losing them down in the innards of the bike. So I'm back to having two fine old bikes in shape. _________________ Paul W.
