Hello to everybody, let me introduce myself.
My name is Antonio, 51 years old (almost 52), I live with my wife Agnese in Milano, northern Italy, and since two months I'm the owner of a beautiful BMW K1100LT ABS built in 1992.
My nickname is the italian translation of the "Alice in the Wonderlands" White Rabbit (Bianco Coniglio, fused in BianConiglio)
Our first bike was a Moto Guzzi V35 (350 cm3, 38 HP) who introduced me, 33yo, in the bike's world for an year and half. After was a Cagiva River (600 cm3, 34 HP, 75.000 km / 47.000 mi) and the latter, in 2001, an Honda Deauville (650 cm3, 55 HP, 166.000 km / 104.000 mi) who conduced us in half Italy and some regions of France, Switzerland, Osterreich, Slovenja, Germany and Scotland. Our trips are reported on our website (italian only) http://digilander.libero.it/biangege
The Deauville was sold at the end of may for scrapping due a break in the frame and in the used bikes warehouse of our dealer we've found this BMW, the model who I always loved in the past, without ability to purchase.
The BMW has 58.000 km / 36.000 mi and in these two month we've already travelled in Piemonte and Provence for 3.000 km / 2.000 mi on high mountain roads, amazed by his exceptional maneuverability than the lighter Deauville. We're very statisfacted!!!
Sorry for my English, it's not perfect, Google translator helps me. I will read the thread to get my bearings in the forum, if you want news or an aid to travel in Italy I will do my best to help you. Thanks for letting me read.
Ciao! |

Thanks for your welcome.
I read the list of members and I see that most of you are in the U.S., and a number in Europe. Italian seems to me just a few, for sure they're present on the local forums dedicated to BMW.
Since I will be difficult to attend some meeting in the U.S., I hope there is a chance to do it the Old Continent. I'll be happy to read your reports from overseas to learn about your life riding a K11. _________________ Antonio e Agnese
