.
I'll be on my mechanically sound but physically trashed blue K11 and I'll be trailering so I can bring some proper cooking tools.
Does anybody need me to bring something that only trailering can bring?
Scott, would you be interested in sorting out why my Rosta Electric cruise control stopped working?

Thanks. It will be a needle in a haystack, but with your skills I'm sure it will be found quickly. I'll try to remember to bring the Rosta install manual.

Hey, I heard ''Fools' are a protected class now. Especially ones who ride logitudally flat mounted engines, stressed in a tubular cassis!
However, 'Idiots', 'dumbasses' and 'morons' are still open to all forms of bullying and name calling...especially if they ride motorbikes with transverse two cylinder engines with the cylinders less than 90° apart Making no less than .87 hp per cubic inch...
And then there is OTG ... The last of his species...not sure if it happend during a classic 'Highlander' type battle or he survived the last comet strike...known to trash the very motor with wheels underneath him.
Which ever...there have been sightings, internet rumors and camp fire discussions.

Hey folks, a couple updates from here in the big city of Marion:
A: The Tuscan restaurant suddenly & mysteriously closed a few weeks back & now there's signs up saying it's going to be "Pizza Perfect" and will be opening soon. Not sure how soon though.
B: My band, the Virginia Remnants, will be playing from 8-11 on May 2nd in Marion at 27 Lions (brick oven pizza, burgers, wings, etc. with 27 beers on tap). So obviously I would vote for y'all to go there for dinner on Saturday and then hang out for some tunes.
There ya have it. I'll show up with some firewood after work that Thursday. Oh, and I just sold my little Suzuki dualsport; switching back to bicycles. I was a bicycle mechanic for 7 years so I know 'em in & out like y'all know K's. _________________ No motorcycles, just bicycles & a canoe |

No doubt due to certain members of our group causing that poor waitress to break down in tears due to some mixed up orders, thus causing a tragic domino effect of events that eventually led to the place being shuttered, way to go guys...

Sounds like a great destination for sure!

Nearly HM time.
Maybe most of you 2015 Hungry Motherers' (??) will check this thread before setting out on your trip.
OTG and I will be arriving possibly between 6 and 7pm and hopefully not much later. So it looks like we are out of that dinnertime. But we will bring something for a light breakfast on Thursday am
Otherwise let's see what everyone wants to do for breakfast & dinner.
Perhaps we could revisit the breakfast place that we went to for HM III- where that huge K bike picture was taken.
Almost HM VIII!!!!

So, I'm a HM virgin..... But.....
Today I smoked two Boston Butts, about 15 pounds raw, 250 degrees for 9 hours over oak and apple wood. Tonight I pulled, bagged and froze about 5 pounds to bring to HM. That will feed about 20 people a decent size pulled pork sandwich. All it needs is to be heated in a pot, maybe with a little BBQ sauce, which I'll also bring.
I'm currently thawing 5 pounds of ground venison, and Sunday I will make venison chili, and again, bag and freeze. I like meaty chili with rotell and three kinds of beans, thick wih some spice but not "hot". That makes about a gallon plus of chili, and with fritos, shredded cheese and sour cream makes a tasty meal.
Don't know if those are more lunch things, or maybe grill some chicken and have the pulled pork, what ever works for everyne else.
Also, bringing a pound or so of chocholate covered pecans, and a pound of cashews.
For the tech side I'm bringing my 3 pin GS-911 if anyone wants to play with it, and the carb tune unless I get to it this weekend, which doesn't look likely. _________________ 2014 R1200RT Water Cooled
