Newbie here.. just purchased a mint 95 K1100RS which is near perfect in every way save the alternate blinking ABS lights. I have read several threads on resetting the abs computer and think i understand the process save one issue. I cant seem to find the diagnostic connector. Is it capped by a blue blanking plug like the video i watched on the R model? If someone could guide me to the correct location it would be greatly appreciated. Picture of the plug wouldn't hurt either! Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.. Kurt

Welcome Kurt!

The connector you find at the left frame tube, under the seat.
It have a blue cap (if not lost) and three wires, brown, brown/white, brown/black.

Welcome Kurt.

How old is the battery. ABS2 is very sensitive to low battery voltage when starting.

A weak battery can very easily cause the alternating ABS light issue.

Ok guys.. I did the ABS reset process and thought it worked as when i let up on the ABS switch both lights remained lighted.. but when i turned switch off and on again they started the alternate flashing thing again.. is it possible i need to ride as soon as i reset to have the system realize it has been reset? The battery is only 1 yr old and showing 12.6 volts off. Any ideas/ suggestions greatly appreciated.. snowing here today so cant ride after reset if that's what i need to do.. thanks much Kurt

In my own experience with wacky K11 ABS systems- each time I needed to reset mine I have had to do the reset procedure anywhere from once to a dozen or more times.

One time it would not reset no matter what I did. I then resorted to covering the blinking lights with some black vinyl tape. Some time later (several weeks?) I happened to glance around the tape and the ABS had reset itself.

Kurt - you have to ride the bike - not far or fast - for the ABS to run the self check. I don't know if you noticed the small clunk clunk when you take off after first starting the bike - that's the ABS.
