Come ride with me and show your support for Wrenching Wenches Motorcycle Network!
The forum that I'm building is http://wrenchingwenches.com/
For the past 12 months plus I have been planning and preparing for an Iron Butt ride attempt coming up next month.
The ride is called Sunset to Sunrise Insanity and only 19 men have completed it. To date, no woman has finished this ride.
I plan to be the first.
I will need to ride 3580+ miles in less than 72 hours.
If I complete the ride East to West, I'll be the first woman to do that however, if I complete it WEST to EAST I'll be the first person ever.
You can follow me live via my Spot Tracker Share Page starting on July 25th 2013.
http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0DGrKKkZTD75oNoJ2XbxrNNMXXaW0Rvqz
I have spent hundreds of dollars and hundreds of hours wrenching, building, modifying, fabricating and tweaking my 1994 K1100RS.
I wish to recognize my husband and thank him for all his help, tolerance and patience with what has seemed like a never ending project. As of today, it's 95% finished and will be ready to ride in time. I could not have done it with him by my side.
July 25th Leave home
July 27th Arrive in Eastport, ME
July 28th Hangout with friends
July 29th Depart on Sunrise to Sunset Insanity
Aug 1st Arrive in La Push, WA
Aug 1st through 4th Hangout with a small group of K1100 riders on Marrowstone Island
Aug 5th Ride to Fork, WA, there to spend the night
Aug 6th Depart on Sunset to Sunrise Insanity
Aug 9th Arrive in Eastport, ME
Aug 10 Ride home
Please help fund the site and support all the female riders out there who want to learn how to work on their own machines.
Palpal support for the site here.
wrenchingwenchesmotorcycle@gmail.com
Thank you and may you always ride with joy,

Gwen,
Jen tried to join your Wrenching wenches site but she cannot post on any of the forums. I found the same thing- I registered this morning but cannot post.

John, I don't think they have gone "live" for public posting as yet, just some beta testing at this point. _________________ Ride safe.

G'Morning Shogiii !!
Wow that is a ride... I've ridden East to West and back ( ie: Ocean to Ocean ) 4 times but NEVER in 72 hours in my wildest dreams !!
I'll be there in Eastport to see you off, but after that there'll be no way to keep up with you except by satellite..
Let us all know when the new SITE get out of testing so we can support you "wrenchin wenches" from the comfort of K11OG !!
Have fun sweetie... see you in a month for sure !

Drikko, you are one funny fellow. You make me laugh out loud more than you know.
Thank you for the well wishes, early and all.
To everyone, I’ll try to update the Blue Streak thread in the next 2 weeks.
To Ernie, can you open Internet Explorer on your Mac?
If so, try looking at that thread on IE instead of Safari and let me know what you see.

Plan...A..B....X...oh hell I don't know any more.
Culpeper, VA to Augie's in Waltham, MA = 530 miles (23rd) ***Stay the night at Augie's***
Augie's to Kellerman Memorial in Greenwich, RI = 65 miles (24th) ***Ride with Jeff to the Memorial***
Kellerman Memorial to Shawn's in Montpelier, VT = 244 miles (24th and 25th) ***AFTER the service ride to Montpelier *** ----Stay the nights of the 24th and 25th---
Shawns to Johns in Sugar Hill, NH = 70 miles (26th) *** Stay with John if possible***
Sugar Hill to Eastport, ME = 332 miles (27th)
Hang out in Eastport (28th)
Eastport, ME to La Push, WA = 3560
La Push, WA to Marrowstone, WA = 117 miles
Marrowstone to La Push = 117 miles
La Push to Eastport = 3560
Eastport to Culpeper = 865 miles
... Lowest number of miles is 9335
More likely about 9600 miles when the dust settles. _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore
