So my 93 k1100 has been running fine
Go to start her Tuesday morning for the commuter run and she starts but dies straight away
Now she turns over and you can hear the fuel pump priming but no go. If I open the throttle right up she does want to start but there only a few coughs nothing more.
I've checked all fuses there all fine
Kill switch does what is suppose to
I have another battery I'm charging but seeing he turns over I did not think my battery would be the issue or do these bricks need a fully charged battery to give her some life!
Am I right to start looking at the relays and fuel filter ?
Any help is always appreciated

I would start with the fuel filter. _________________ John & Cathy

Something else to try, under the seat, unplug and re-connect the large plug on the top of the motronic unit a couple of times. _________________ Ride safe.

If it's "trying" to start and catches/coughs once in a while then it might be an intermittent electrical problem. Here are some not too uncommon possible causes:
Flaky fuel tank connector power to the fuel pump?
Flaky side stand switch?
Flaky ignition switch?
Also check/clean the terminals for your battery ground at the battery and on the left side of the transmission. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
