Looking for the 2 parts that bolt into the upper triple clamp and to the handlebars, #3 and 4 in the diagram below:
http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fiche/Diagrams/B0000698.png?v=04282014
This is a different part from the K1100RS - it has a support sticking out of one end that makes the longer handlebars a little less bendy, when bolted to the other little bits that are different from the K1100RS. I have all the other parts...
Someone must have a pair of these sitting in a box, no?
TIA,
Sam

Sam, my #4's were aged and cracked. I replaced them with a piece of 1/2 inch fuel line.
If you're going to use the #4, you'll need #17 too.
I would recommend you just put big washers on the bottom of the #4 part on your RS clamps. That will firm them up nicely, you won't need #17 .
Just my $.02

Thanks bill. I already have the #17 bit. I'll go the stiffening with the washer route for sure; I just thought it was worth seeing if any of these clamps were lying around and I guess not.

Just an update - I made a couple of nice little recessed washers out of aluminum for the bottom - they work great. I would have liked to try the stock setup, but I'm not giong to mess with what works well now, so I dont need these any more.
Thx,
