I'm not able to attend, but if we can convince omarsbuddy to transport it both directions, I'll send mine. |
Consider me convinced! |
If you don't get connected up let me know, I can pack mine, or my TwinMax, either one. _________________ Ride safe.

I'll be the first to jinx the weather for this year.
It's looking pretty good with the ten day forecasts just starting to show next Thurs and Fri....
http://www.intellicast.com/Local/Weather.aspx?location=USVA0466
It looks like they'll have a wet spell early next week with it clearing out by the mid to latter week. Nice!
In thoughts of this year's gathering I thought of outdoor camp chairs being a valuable commodity. Is anyone trailering in this year? I'd gladly donate $50 to someone grabbing 5-6 of those cheap folding camp chairs that I've bought at Home Depot for $8. I've got a bunch and they're really comfortable, but a little long to pack on the side of the bike.
I really like the Kermit chairs, but not quite ready to shell out that kind of money. I've seen some other compact camping chairs that would fit on the bike, but they are still $65+.
I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again! _________________ Steve

Hi all...
I agree with Steve,,, I've doubled checked on the Eurocast ( something like NOAA ) and they also predict a "fairly" dry week and only "wet" at the beginning for that region of SW VA.. Soooo keep the fingers crossed, eh?
BUT looking at all the Mississippi flooding... I"M really hoping Scott can make it across the "Big Muddy" without having to go by way of Phoenix !

Well, kind of ironic since I started this thread......
I can't make it to HM this year, because of family stuff. It is all good news and nothing bad.
Gwen, Jim and Scott can fill you all in about the reason when you get there.
Don't have too good of a time- I don't want to miss too much!
Hope you have dry and sunny weather.

Yeah Ernie- I will miss you and all the usual suspects. Hopefully Rydor won't need any zip-ties this year.
I was so looking forward to HM VI for, oh, about 10 months. Crap.
Guess I have to look forward to HM VII.
Have a great ride down and back. Hope you folks have good weather. _________________ John & Cathy

Great that everyone had an excellent HM experience.
NUTS that I missed it. But Jen and her longtime BF are now semi-settled out in California.
Yeah, we (especially me) miss her. Did track days with her and MC maintenance too.
And she REALLY liked Rydor's S1000RR- even after the HM V.. uh..modification.
Now, how many days/weeks until the next HM? _________________ John & Cathy
