Ah well, normal summer really, even the snakes are sick of it! This guy is balanced over the side door this morning, nice big rat meal onboard by the look of it. How it got up there I don't know, possibly down from the gutter. Hmmm, about time I washed the eves by the look of it! My daughter wanted to bring it inside where it was warmer, my sons girlfriend freaked out and said kill it, too very different views on the matter. I don't think we'll be seeing the lads' girlfriend for a few days...

On the bright side, it doesn't look like a venomous reptile - I'd guess at carpet snake or python? - and it does eat the local pestilential rodents.

Yeah it's just a carpet python, nothing to worry about, not venomous. Up at her mothers place my daughter used to have a pet one of these about the same size. She used to carry it around the house, it would sit on her lap and watch TV quite happily for hours. Every morning it would be sunning itself on the verandah.
The one in the picture has gone today, probably got sick of balancing on the ledge _________________ K1100RS '97
