|
|
Hello everybody from Sweden.
Today was quite exciting: I delivered my 2010 F650GS to its new owner, then two hours later, I received my "new" 1993 K1100RS.
This isn't my first K by any means, but it is my first K1100RS.
Here she is just after arrival:
Here she is an hour-and-a-half later:
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with her, but finding out what surprises lie under the surface is always my first action.
I'm thinking of ways to put her on a diet, without ruining her looks.
All suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks and rubber side down (even in the snow)! |

WELCOME!
Nice K-RS. A few years ago I had a 1993 K-RS also. Lost my mind (temporarily) and sold it to buy a 1400GTR Kawasaki. Big mistake.
Sold that and found my current '92 K100RS.
Good bunch of folks here on the K11OG. Keep us up to date on your modifications.

Thanks, John.
I look forward to a long(er) relationship with this bike and K11OG.
And I will definitely keep everyone up-to-date on the mods.

Thanks, Number 6.
Well, I was still riding after Christmas and in the beginning of January, but now the temperatures have dropped dramatically and the snow is staying. Most likely it won't be until late March, early April, that I will be able to get the bike out of the garage.
So, this is a perfect time for wrenching a little !

Take the motor out, that'll save heaps of un-needed weight.... _________________ K1100RS '97

Anyone with suggestions for an exhaust alternative? I'm thinking custom. |
