Scott or John, anyone that has?
Have any of you gents ever had the top case latch apart?it opens part way,then you push the button and raise the handle to open the case. There is
Some spring steel pisces on each side.
Mine broke and I don't know how they are shaped?
Any possible schamitics (drawings)on the handle/lock mechanism would be appreciated! Thx. Keith

Keith, I have 2 of them and not had the latch assy apart on either one.
Nor have I seen any schematics on line of the internals.
I almost took one apart last year when I had the push button stick in. This conditions tends to let the lid fall open when you try and carry the case by only the handle.... Embarassed

He was gonna send me pics of the top case latch and spring steel pieces,but I have not herd fm him yet?

I have a top case for sale here. Then bottom half is great but the top has holes from the speaker mount. Latch is good but you will need to install your key cylinder.
