after sittin in my garage uncharged for five weeks i put my charger
on for about an hour, but did not fully charge the battery. i rode about 2 miles to air up tires. when i started up again abs stayed on {sign of low bat]
and I rode 15 miles, had dinner and when I came out the battery was dead
I got a jump and almost made it home, when she just died at an intersection. I got another jump and got her to my garage and put my
charger on......Is this a battery or alt problem???? Not sure how old battery
is......This is scary.....Steve

Steve,

After spending a few hours on a battery charger, start the engine and see what the voltage is at the battery terminals.

That will start to give you battery vs. electrical system diagnosis.

said sounds like bad battery, replace with an Odyssey pc680,

That would have been my guess too but not seeing the bike in person I wanted to offer a simple diagnosis method.
