Put some oil in it - and great job by the way.

Hope some else sees this with a LT or RS with lots of plastic damage and decides to go this route instead of parting it out.

Many hours spent with the potbelly roaring well past midnight [been a very cold wet winter here this year], no idea of how many all up. A lot of time went into fitting the r 1150 wheels with bigger discs [wicked brakes ] r1200 gs calliper to accomadate rear wheel as the disc mounts on the wheel not the diff. Air filter is in the shed collecting dust as it should be. Little pod filters will be fitted with a few pairs of old socks and foam to make them a little more effiecient air temp sensor is fitted into the rear filter and breather has been plumbed in using a pcv valve as shown on this site. The side covers are just a bit of sheet panel metal slapped on to avoid any unwanted attention may do somthing a little more shapely in alloy. Lost a lot of wieght[bike not me] and lower gearing from slightly smaller wheel along with better breathing makes this thing pull really hard also has a lovely note as the exhaust is a modified k100 system with shortened and debaffled muffler, add the induction noise and it sounds pretty good. This project has been a joy to do as all the parts seem to have magically appeared at the right time and price to string it together seems like it was meant to be. As soon as the weather warms up will start the looks department with a bit of bodywork and paint . CHEERS AUSBRICK MICK
