Hi,
I'll be moving to the San Francisco bay area next month, I am looking for a K1100LT ABS2 in good shape, could consider a K1100RS also, or a K1200RS, could consider a LT.
Maximum budget: $5,000 if justified.
Let me know if you hear of something. _________________ I am not a number, I am a free man.

Just bought majordomo490's K1100LT, it's kind of brand new, too bad it's green, but I'm on a K11 again, _________________ I am not a number, I am a free man.

Enjoy the bike Number 6.
If you will ride with a VFR rider we will meet again.

Drikko,
I work in Sunnyvale & have lived in the Bay Area for 22 years.
If you change your mind and decide to rent a bike, I'd be happy to show you around some of the local rides.....

Hi Sanjiv,
Looks like I'm going a bit earlier than I though and may get some outside time, will keep you posted
I'm pretty familiar with those roads as I lived in Rio Del Mar for nearly a year although that was 17 years ago!
If I get a bike, would definitely like a guide _________________ K1100RS '97

Brother I couldn't have said it better. As a Systems Engineer I've had to deal with that crap for almost 30 years (16 with Xerox - the worst of all...) and it just gets more moronic the older you get. The only upside has been the occasional award trip for a good year - to Costa Rica, the Caribbean, etc. But I'm just about done with it all and ready to retire...
