Will a K1100LT tank bag fit on a 93 K75S?

The bags are supposedly the same; the bases are not. The clips on the K75/100 bag fit under the seams on the fuel tank. The clips on the K1100 bag fit into a mount (NOT standard on the bike) bolted to the frame on each side. The bend in the K1100 clips is much sharper than that of the K75/100 and, as such, will not grip the fuel tank seam as will that of the K75/100. If you have a K75 bag and want to mount it on the K1100, I would sell it and buy a K1100 one. Theoretically you can purchase the correct base, but BMW tank bags have come with 3 or 4 different (and incompatible) zippers and it is doubtful that the base zipper would work with the bag zipper.

Unless you replace the zippers...
