Does anyone have one that could be lent out? I have been stalling on putting my bike back together because I couldn't eyeball the friction plate...

Save your money, just use the pushrod and a socket. Add a few wraps of masking tape to hold it together.

Here's one I made earlier.

The orange, is in fact Red insulating tape, about two turns.
