1994 BMW K1100LT
High milage, rider not a looker. Veteran of the Iron Butt Rally. Owned by BMW Afficiandos since new. Well taken care of. Includes working ABS, power electric windshield, heated grips, custom comfort saddle.

•Topcase
•Sidecases
•4.5 Gallon fuel cell with IBA 'OK' mounting hardware by Bill McAvan of BLM Accessories
•Blaupunkt radio - unknown working status
•Books and service receipts dating back years.
•Custom foam on a Corbin seat
•Wilburs rear shock
•ME880 tires in good condition.
•Motorad Tank Bag and Clips - elastic is worn and will need re-sewn
•Many spare parts
•Parabellum Screen
•Stock Screen
Does Not Include: •Front Speakers
•Rear Speakers
•Rear passenger back pad (blew off on the Colorado ride!)
The Good:
I bought it in 09 from an Alabama IBA rider. I rode it to Colorado and back in 2 days (1200 miles). Took it to Engel Motors and had it fully serviced (12K service).
New switchgear for power windscreen, heated grips, hazard flashers.
Rode it to Arkansas and Queen Wilhelmina State Park. Outstanding handling, great long distance or local riding.
Suspension is great; tires are solid; motor pulls strong. Transmission shifts cleanly. Rear drive in good shape.
The Bad:
Paint is rough. See photos. Rock chips, scratches, scrapes, dings. Left side battery cover has a snapped plastic mounting tab. Stays on fine, but not 100% secure.
The clutch seems to be slipping at high RPM top-gear acceleration on the highway. There is very light seepage at motor / transmission housing mount. I *think* the clutch is oiled and a seal is seeping. I'm not a mechanic. Engel Motors quoted 'worst case' of replacing everything at $1,600.
The Price:
NADA shows about $4,000 for a fair condition bike. Take out a bit for miles, take out $1,600 for worse-case clutch work, add in a bit for the custom seat, fuel cell, etc, lets call it $2500 or best offer. Seriously - make an offer. Not looking for trades, I like cash. Or cashiers checks. No personal checks. No shipping.
Shipping: You can ride it home if it's local. Otherwise, you'll want a trailer. I would not trust the clutch to a long highway ride. _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore
