Scott underscore, Gwen, any one know what hosp. in Dallas Phill would be in when he goes ?
My wife & I have relatives there in plano tx. so if I was there and Phill is also,Iwould try to check in on him.

Hi,
I haven't told Gwen because I didn't deem it important then. The surgeon I'm seeing does most of his work at Methodist Hospital, so it's likely that's where the surgery would take place. I don't know when, though. He told me the latest studies show better results with chemotherapy first, then surgery, then more chemotherapy. At the moment, I'm still having tests, scans, and seeing various doctors. Example, yesterday I had a PET scan and saw a cardiologist. Today I see an oncologist and also have a stress test. I would expect to begin treatment in the next week or two. I've been told they'll probably install a port and a feeding tube, since I've lost 50 lb. in the past 6 months and obviously am not getting sufficient nutrition.
