When I took the Ikon shock off I noticed the top mount was a fully threaded bolt. The bearing was all broken and the shims wer mangeled, shouldn't this bolt be a shanked bolt where it goes through the shock and frame holes?

Also the top nut was not a nyloc or something. Shouldn't it be some kind of locking nut like the bottom one?
