Not a product review but something I found while looking through the Ducati.ms forum. Just a bit different AND they have applications for K100 & K1100- LT, RT and RS

John - the way I read it, those are an add on rather than a replacement - I think they stick to the existing mirror with some kind of double stick tape.
No matter - they look pretty cool. _________________ Jim

Hi all....
Re these "enhancement mirror" ad-ons.... I checked with the USA dealer in Rhode Island and here's the reply:
Hey Ernie,
Yes you can. The thing is, if we do not have them in stock it will take around 4-6 weeks to get over here from Overseas
Cheers
Shawn

I wouldn't trust ANY mirror. A shoulder check is the only real way to know what's there.
It is interesting to find something new for our antique bikes. Those Z-Technik LT windscreens are pretty new too. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Zactly. I always check the mirror then quick look behind.
Yeah, something NEW(!) for a K100/1100 is a real find. _________________ John & Cathy

I don't trust the mirrors either - always do a head check before making a move - even in the car - sort of got to be a habit.
It looks like these would show a lot more than the little tiny "eyeball" spot mirrors I'm using now - which actually aren't terrible.
I have a call in to get a price quote - I'll let you know as soon as I hear something. These mirrors are not in stock. _________________ Jim

Wonder if this might become a group buy?

If the availability issue can be fixed, I'd be in for a set of each. I have essentially received the same email reply. "Currently on back order". No indication when that maybe rectified. Would make one wonder if they where ever available or if they just put it out to sample interest. _________________ Lee Richter

Hi guys....
No... I dont think this was just a 'teaser'. Twisted Throttle is the only designated rep for MFW in the states... and the product IS new !!
Secondly... if we do a 'group buy' I'd be in for both a right and left side... I have to admit to superior ineptness in that it seems I've done the 'drops' on both sides at least once, AND there are K11OG members that can attest to that fact !! Therefore a 'mirror face re-newal' is definitely in order !!!
Best regards all..........// Ernie in NH _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

Depending on cost I would be up for a group buy.
One of my mirrors is badly faded in the top right portion of the mirror.
If these are available I might as well replace both with something that can enhance safety. _________________ 1994 K 1100 RS |

I heard back from Twisted Throttle.
You guys interested in gold? Or blue? I think I'm going with blue.
Twisted Throttle is going to place an order. It would probably be helpful if they had a count before they order.
Let me know, please. _________________ Jim

Hi Jim,
Thanks for driving this.
I'm in. No idea what this costs but it cant be more than pennies if it is for a brick
Prefer Gold since it is anti-glare.

Just got an email from Rich at Twisted Throttle. As soon as he gets back to me with a price, I'll let you guys know.
Then, I'll need to know ASAP if you want to order. _________________ Jim

Jim,
This is for either LT or RS, correct?
I actually don't know if the glass portion of our mirrors are the same between the two K models. Is it?
Anyway, I started this thread so I want to order a blue pair please.
Thanks.
