I bought the ScalaRider Q2 Multiset Pro.I use it on a K 1100 LT with a sidecar.
It is used only for communication between driver and sidecar passenger.Wind noise is a serious problem.Communication is fine up to about 50 km/hr, then the windnoise for the passenger becomes unacceptable. The driver always get a lot of turbulence from the fairly large sidecar windshield.I drive with the
visor on my 3/4 helmet open most of the time and the bikes windshield comes up to my eyelevel only.I like to look over it.I as the driver also get a lot of windnoise when the passenger hikes out beyond the sidecar windshield in a righthand turn. How can I reduce the windnoise?I tried pushing buttons according to manual but that is hard to do while driving and the manual is not overly precise.-Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have used 2 different intercom units, wired and wireless. Neither one worked worth a tinkers darn with my 3/4 helmet.
I had the best perfromance(if you want to call it that) with either a full face or a flip-chin modular. They still aren't perfect but at least you could hold a conversation with out shouting too much.

I used a Chatterbox tandem on my FJ rig.It worked okay but had a lot of static and the wireconnectors were flimsy.I would really miss communications
with passenger. Will beat the new system into submission.

Im thinking of using Scala Q2 multi for interbike com. or as rider pilon com.
Can I use a multi set or do I need to get two Scala Q2 sets?

I've not tried to connect different brands, but I would think that if they are both "bluetooth" technology I don't know why the wouldn't connect and talk.
