Doing a hard turn with low fuel but no reserve light on the fuelpump
whined noisily momentarily.My K1100 LT 1997 is driven with sidecar,so fuel and oil get displaced laterally more readily.Can the pump be damaged
by that?

They can be noisy when low on fuel, shouldn't cause any damage, as long as it's not run constantly in that state.

Thanks for very quick reply.-So 10 seconds of loud whine does no harm?
I guess it could be a low fuel audio warning.
