Nice lookin LT ya got there. That's the dual canyon sport seat, right?

I wish I'd got a tank cover before I took my LT in for service recently. They put 3 lovely gouges in my new gas tank. Not deep enough to cause rust, but fairly deep. They offered to have their paint guy fix it, but not wanting to deal with all the time lost and them screwing it up again (they're 0 for 2 on the last two visits there), I took a hefty discount on the service and hightailed it outta there.

The fuel tank won't rust. It's made of aluminum.

OK, oxidize and/or corrode. It does do that, it's happened to two gas tanks on my LT before (in the exact same spot).
