hello all just saying hi picked up a cheap k1100lt last year the po had a slow speed smash and damadged most of the fairing which has since bin binned the more i do to the bike the more problems i find hence joining the forum cheers jings ,,,,,,

Hi Jings and welcome....

Be sure to fill out your signature line completely with "year and model" of your K-bike. Then do a quick intro about yourself, and follow up with pics of the bike as-is, in progress, and finally when you have brought it completely back to life. Also a pic of yourself for the "rogues gallery" would be great. There is also an active K rider group in the UK so find the thread here and sign in. You should also be able to find others near you that can help you with many many problems 'on site'..

Yes these old girls need some love and work.

Also have a camara ready and post pics with some of your issus.

These bikes can be pigs to work on, but they grow on you and are very rewarding when they are running well.
