Lately I have been getting the following when I look at some threads. It is only on a few threads when I use my desktop but it happens all the time now when I access the forum on my notebook.

Any suggestions? Here is a SMALL sample of what comes up....

Plus you posted it twice. Plus you posted it twice. Did you click the link? I won't. Maybe on my old computer.

I removed the duplicate post. Sounds like you may have a bug somewhere there John.
I am having issues getting to the new test forum.
I can get in thru the mod links, but to go to the index main page from my favorites list I get nothing but a line of text that states "testing site".

OK, looks like Firefox is responsible. Right now I am using Internet Explorer and no problems.

Wonder why this started.

Clear the cache in Firefox. It's most likely just a corrupt file in the cache.
Tools Menu -> Options -> Advanced -> Network

Hey, THANKS.

There wasn't anything showing in the advanced cache. But I also cleared all the recent history and now I am back on FireFox.

Dunno' where that came from. I use FireFox because (IMHO) it seems to keep this kind of crap out of computers.

We'll see how long this lasts......

Thanks again.

John

Certainly it was nothing serious - what you showed was the headers and html code as sent by the web server before your browser renders it nicely for humans to view.

For whatever reason the browser decided to pass it straight through - that's the odd bit Question

Yes, strange indeed.

Often times I find the combination of satellite internet and Firefox web browser gives me some odd results. Occasionally I cannot download or upload some images at home but once I get online at my office (DSL) everything goes fine. Confused
