np.
I am perplexed by the refill amounts on a dry tank, tho. Maybe I should bungie a 2 gallon can on the bike and run it dry. The tank is less than 6 months old (they keep springing leaks every 5 years on me), so I wouldn't have to worry about sediment or rust and the injectors disagreeing. |

mnb - where are they leaking? Way down low in those little corners? Does your bike sit through the winter? Where do you live? The gas we get today is so crappy it's no good to leave it in the tank much longer than it takes to burn it. Do you use Stabil? _________________ Jim

left side, right by the tang that drops down with the hole and the grommet for the side panel to stick into. Same spot 5 years after buying it and 10.5 years after.
My bike never sits for more than a month or two, these days, rarely for even a week. I never park my bike long enough to warrant the use of Stabil.
I live an hour south of San Francisco. |

Ah, well then, that's it. It's that really crappy, overpriced gasoline you folks have made special - just for you - out there in California. Any chance you're getting a bit of condensation in the tank that sits down there in that little corner of the tank and eats it up? Might be - if that's the case, use Dri gas or something like it. Stabil will also condition the gas and (supposedly) dry it.
Thought of getting the tank lined? _________________ Jim
