Of interest. Not mine. No connection.
My '96 is in pretty fine shape, but I have no illusions of getting $6K+ for it. Ever.

That's not a K-bike anymore. A lot of work went into customizing it. I can see why it got $6k. _________________ To err once is human. To do so repeatedly is incompetence.

Yes, and no.
Still has the stock airbox and the catalytic converter.
Still has the stock fork brace and brake line junction.
Still has the stock clunky upper triple tree.
Still has the stock 18" rear wheel.
That seat...meh...
I'm being hyper-critical I suppose. _________________ '20 R1250RS - The RS

Well, any good sale is about finding the right buyer. This one found the right buyer. _________________ To err once is human. To do so repeatedly is incompetence.

No speedometer?
If I were going to strip a K I wouldn't bother having a temperature gauge. It serves no worthwhile purpose. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

The "builder" (and I use that term loosely) got $6,200 for it.
Extra credit for getting posted on the ADVrider Craigslist Dumbass thread where it is referred to as an abortion. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I am going to guess you didn't buy it. But someone did. That's all that counts. _________________ To err once is human. To do so repeatedly is incompetence.
