I have a 1995 K1100LT very fun, very reliable. Had been smelling gasoline in late May. Found a puddle of gasoline below the bike the moring after a day-long ride. Thought I found the culprit -- a crackly fuel line from the rail to the tank. I replaced all of the hoses and had no leaks when pressured up. OK, all seemed good. Filled the tank and went for a test run. About 5 miles in I started smelling gas, again. Pulled in the driveway, brought out the shop light only to see gas dripping from the bottom of the tank. "Connector at the tank," I thought. Lift tank to tighten the clamp... get a handful of gas squishing from the insulation blanket. Lift the tank only to find gas raining from the plate of the fuel pump assembly. Have not done any work in this area before. Any thoughts/suggestions as to what I may have done and what to do going forward?

Thanks!
Todd

There's a large O-ring where the fuel lever sender assembly attaches to the tank. I'd try replacing that. Part 62161459608
