I noticed that my tail light isn't working but the bulb monitor in the instrument cluster isn't showing it, pull out the bulb and it tests OK, put it back in still not working?
Any thoughts

Lou - I haven't had much luck with Asian bulbs - get a Phillips bulb made in Germany - they're the best. Give that a try. Is the bulb monitor bulb good? _________________ Jim

Lou,
How are the contacts inside the bulb socket and is the inside of the socket itself clean or corroded?
The rear of any vehicle sucks lots of moisture and filth off the road.
BTW, does the brake light filament light up?
