|
|
About to mount the head back on my K1100 -96. And in the shop manual it states two different methods. One is listed in the torque list in the beginning. And other is stated in the procedures for the fitment. But what is correct?
20Nm +75dgr +75dgr?
or
20NM+90dgr?
I did the 20NM+90dgr and by checking I see that equals to about 60Nm. If I am to take it 60dgr more, I guess I end up about 30% higher in Tq - at about 80-100Nm-or extra stretched bolts over the yield/elastic range and maybe close to the tensile point?
