Hi again--
I used to be SinNH here, (like in all my other bike forums), but I couldn't figure out how to log in since I changed internet/ email providers.
I would like to get back to being just SinNH if possible.
Anyway, I had a 96 LT for four years, and now before the fat lady sings, I am hankering for another. Loved that brick.
But, I see a couple parts sites that I use for other Bmw parts ( Bikebandit and Max's BmW) don't even list any K1100 on their site catalogs.
Question ( finally!) are oem parts hard to find now?
I do remember not having too many choice for tires back then, has that gotten worse?
I had no issue finding new oem back 2006-2009.
Thanks, Steve in NH

Hi Steve,
Welcome back! Not sure how much we can do with your user name - I'll check.
The parts fiche at Max still shows the K11 LT and RS. Some parts are no longer available, but many still are - at a price.

Sometimes it's cheaper (and faster) to get parts from Motorworks in the UK than Stateside.

I get my factory parts from A&S these days. No tax and no shipping cost regardless of order size. And they get them out pretty quickly, usually USPS First Class which is pretty quick even across the country. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

LT tires: Go radial.
Finding a front 110/80-18 isn't an issue.
For the rear use a 150/70-17 which shouldn't be hard to find. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
