Here's a write-up from installing Galfer lines on my 94 RS. LT should be pretty similar.

I thought the hardest part was the end of the line from the master cyl, located under the tank hear the headstock...... darn near have to "gut" the wiring to get to it......

I think I might have misled you - it's hoses only.

What underscore and I were referring to was connecting a new brake line(hose) from the master cylinder to the metal line that goes back to the ABS modulator, not replacing the hard metal line.

On my LT, you had to remove the tank obviously, then cut the wire ties holding the harness down, then need two 12mm (IIRC) wrenches to reach under their harness. I think there was also an allen head rack that held the lines to the frame? That part sucked. It was having someone hold the wires apart so you could get to the fitting.

Most of the brake components require odd-sized (uncommon) box wrenches - 11mm and 14mm. You can get away with using crescent wrenches but since I play with bikes a lot I just bought an 11 and a 14.
