Hi. Can you good people of the K11OG let me know what milages you would expect to get from a set of pads? Its been a while for myself, im thinking around 10k. Doesnt seem to be much on the subject here on on the interweb.
Many thanks Bondie

I replace my K bikes at 16k, they looked new, but were 25 plus years old and I wanted newer technology such as ministered pads. I think milage isn't a big of factor as how you ride, highway milage they should last a long time, city traffic eats them.

To be honest I have never kept a close check. I replaced them on my 1998 K1100LT when I bought it in October 2014 and after 18000 more miles since then, they are still less than half worn. Even the front discs show very little wear and the back one is well within the wear limit

Having said that I no longer scratch around bends, need to brake hard unnecessarily, or for that matter ride like a brainless buffoon. I know my limits, which may also be the reason I get very good mileage out of my tyre too.
