The abs unit is probably dying slowly. New battery, tested cranking volts, bled brakes, and checked electrical connections at the module. It use to only set a code when it was really cold and frost on the bike. Now if it's 60 F with a new battery, it will set a code 7(failed module). If it's warm out, no problem. If I set a code, drive it a few miles till the engine is warm and then clear the code, were fine Smile

I might like to just pull the main abs relay and turn the unit completely off. I have pulled all the relays in the box under the gas tank and still have power on 3 wires going to the module. I did find one small abs warning relay next to the fuel pump relay under the gas tank.

Thank you in advanced. jr

Many times, 2 pieces of black electrical tape over the lights for a while then check it, you may find that it's magically fixed itself.

The relay for the warning lights is the very small one, well, a bit smaller than the others which on European bikes is coloured blue and fixed at the front of the relay box. You will also have to remove the bulb from the instrument consol, otherwise the light will be on all the time.

I have been down the same road so I know.

A word of warning, when removing the multi-pin plug fro, the back of the instruments the wires are tightly restrained, so before pulling the plug cut the plastic cable ties to give a bit more free play. While you may get away with it there is a risk that the single wire to the rear bulb failure warning will break and they are a pig to find and repair.
