Hi guys, this is my "new" 1992 K1100LT, with 65.000K on the clock.

My first question here, This is the black LT, paint code 679. BMW says they don't stock it anymore. This is somewhere between black and grey... Any other options for small retouch?

Do you guys know it this cheap fuel pump fits the bike? Mine is whining a bit, and I thought I'd replace it and keep the original in the trunk...

It is not uncommon for the fuel pump on these bikes to make a whining sound, it is even louder when the tank is low on fuel.
They have had a knick name in the past of being "k"whiners.....

Scott is right on about the fuel pump.

The paint on your bike (if it is original from the factory) is "Glasurit". Perhaps you might contact a local autobody repair shop to see if they could obtain a small touch up quantity.

Alternately (as I have) take one of the side battery covers and see if the autobody shop can closely match the color.
