I don't yet have a K11 but thinking about it but have many years with mainly sports bikes, then again the second last was a 91 ST11. I liked it but didn't like it, heavy bugger of a thing when shoving it in and out the garage ect but when moving was more or less fine.

Sport bike are really my thing but want something different, and was looking at the mid 90s k11's for some reason but don't know if I'd sell it within a month or two because it was to"sensible".

I've also looking at mid 90s blades, triumph sprint and Daytona...just can't make my bloody mind up

Don't think I'll bother

If you thought the ST1100 was a heavy bugger, you won't find the K1100 to be much different.

Hey Stu,

Are you thinking K1100LT (more upright touring) or K100RS/K1100RS (more sport-tour)?

I have a K100RS and have done trackdays with it. I also ride a 2014 Daytona.

While K1100 bikes are on the heavier side, that weight largely disappears at speed. Very comfortable for long distances but surprisingly fun on twisty roads.

I'll probably go for an RS then as you say, as I don't like sitting to upright I know that might sound daft but I prefer to forward a bit.

That's what I didn't like about the ST11 ie sitting to upright.

I prefer a slight forward lean myself.

I've rented a BMW K1600GT and an R1200RTW. Nice power but too upright.

Or try a K1200 or 1300GT A little more upright but not LT like. Veryvery powerful 152hp. I only have 60k mile on my K1200GT so its just broken in.
