Tried Motorcycle Superstore for subject tire with no luck. Any ideas for a substitute? 140/80ZR-17.

I fitted Bridgestone T30 radial rear in size 150/70ZR-17 to my K75 (fitted with 3.00 x 17 3-spoke rim). The front got 110/80ZR-18 radial in the same brand. Very good tires and I'm very happy with the performance.

34-36 PSI front.

40-42 PSI rear.

(depending upon how heavy you're loaded)

I've never had an issue with the BTs (but a little on PR2s) but if you find the front "wandering" on your LT then drop down a couple of PSI and see if that helps. It may make the front wear a little faster but I prefer more precise handling over longevity.

Been running 35 in BT front. Front always feels a little light. Heading for Montana next week, will try a couple pounds less.

Thanks.

Great video. Be heading toward Pikes Peak, Durango, then up through Ouray, toward Yellowstone, Dead Indian pass, Bear Tooth, eventually ending up in Billings. Back home through Black Hills, Badlands, etc. K Bike exercise.

Mounting 150/70 tire required setting off a minor explosion using starter fluid and matches to pop the bead. Air and a belt wouldn't do it. Swing arm clearance is fine.

You did the starter fluid bead set? Awesome! LOL

Check your maps for Chief Joseph Hwy and work it into your schedule if you can. Pretty good riding but the best part is the scenery.

I'm jealous....

JMHO: Do Beartooth late in the evening on a weekday to avoid traffic. It'll get pretty cold above 10,000 feet but it is worth it to avoid traffic. Ride fast to keep your tires warm...
