I'm looking for a DPDT spring center switch that will mount in the standard dash switch location - did BMW ever offer one? Everything I can think of is 2 or 3 position detented. I could use a SPDT spring centered one, but I'd then have to add a relay.

I've got a sidecar with a power canopy and I'd like to be able to control it from the dash.

TIA,

Sam

Contura rocker switches fit in the dash holes. These switches are IP68 rated and come in various configurations. They are available online at Eastern Beaver (http://easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Switches/switches.html) or you can search for them from boating suppliers. Carling Switches are also drop in replacements for the BMW switches. They are also IP68 rated. You can get them online (http://www.carlingtech.com/rocker-switches-sealed) or find a local supplier.

I picked up a great switch made for an automobile power window from a local electronics supply house (A1 Parts) for $3.00. I used it to control a K1100LT windshield which I fitted to my K100.
