Just bought this, after being very impressed with a friends.
Not as refined as the brick, but well worth considering if you're after a fun second bike.

Very pretty, I have always liked Guzzis. The only thing that scares me is that there is very little dealership support around my general area.

Understandable if you're buying new, and need to keep the bike within the terms of the warranty, but otherwise, there is nothing to worry about.
There is NOTHING with this bike that is beyond the remit of any decent mechanic, and as far as servicing goes, it's a great DIY bike.
I mean, it uses lock nut tappet valve clearances for crying out loud.
How quaint is that.
No nasty fiddly shims.
I did a full service on this when I got it, and it took a less than two hours.
For the plug in stuff, you can take it to any Aprillia dealer, as they use the same software.
Since the Piaggio take over, parts are not an issue, and you will find a myriad of small specialists who can get you pretty much anything.
I bought one of these brand new in 2007, and ran it to 25,000 miles without one single issue.
Believe me, they don't come much tougher than this.
You need worry no more about getting this bike to an approved dealer, than having to use a BMW dealer for your K.

Nice MotoGuzzi. The Griso is one of the few bikes that I could see in my garage too.

Hope you have some great miles with the Guzzi!

Thanks,
You know it's a strange thing, this spell my KRS has over me but if I was only allowed to have one bike out of these two, it would be the Beemer, but yes, the Griso is a great bike,
