A Moto Guzzi V11, heavily modified with blue printed engine amongst a long list of other work.
It really is an awesome looking thing, and the sound

I've never understood the design engineers reasoning behind placing the oil filter right behind the front wheel leaving it fully exposed to debris.........

Nice looking bike though.

I agree, although the original factory sump has the oil filter fitted underneath, like the K bikes.
This bike is fitted with an after market, non factory deep sump with the oil filter located differently.

The Kawi Concours that I rode to HM III had the same arrangement. It was enough of a concern that there was a company that sold an aluminum cover that slipped over the oil filter for protection.

One of the many farkles that I had bought in my quest to make the bike reliable and comfortable. As you know, it never grew on me. Rolling Eyes

Both bikes look good but to me the RS takes first place. The Guzzi looks great if you have cold knees.
