I was a member some years ago but left when I sold my last K1100LT. A R1100RT, 2 x R100RT's and a K75s later I have returned with my new (to me) 1998 K1100LTSE. Only 17500 miles recorded (genuine) when it came into my ownership it runs and rides like new. (I still have the K75s)

There are a couple of problems which I have to sort out but nothing that will stop it being ridden in the meantime (ABS has gone AWOL due to water ingress) and it needs new tyres.

Unfortunately I do not seem to be able to upload any images. The upload facility is not visible.

I am familiar with the software used on the forum but there seems to be something missing and I seem to recall that this has to be enabled by the admin. Can you assist please?

You need to upload images to a hosting site (photobucket, flickr, etc..)

Then link to them.

Sorry I don't have an account with either sites so it will have to pass.

I use another site with the same forum software (PHPB) and there is a facility to upload images direct from the source on the users computer.

Having to use a 3rd party route does seem to be a bit long winded.

Yea, it may be a bit of a long way around, but it also keeps the cost associated with hosting the site lower by not having to pay for the extra storage/maintenance on a server.

There are pro's and con's either way. Hosting on 1 site lets you be able to share the same photo on multiple sites with only 1 upload. Yet on the negative, if you delete/move said photo, you break all links.
