Hello Everyone,
I am a new member here and wanted to say a quick hello. I have been lurking here for a couple of years since I purchased my 94 K1100RS but had never posted to an online forum before. I had a little extra time today so I thought I better figure this thing out.
Before I go any further I would like to thank you all for the time and expertise you have passed along on this site - it has been a very valuable resource for me. Well done.
I have been motorcycling for 40 some odd years but mostly off-road riding - this K bike is my first large road bike. I purchased it two years ago with just 11,500 miles on the clock. It was in immaculate condition, and once I saw it I realized that there is some truth in the old saying that "Every once in a while the blind squirrel finds a nut". It has been a real treat to ride and has this mysterious way of turning me into 16 years old again. My wife seems to have mixed emotions about this.
Anyway, if I have figured this out correctly, here are a few pictures. If you find yourselves passing through Billings, Montana please stop and say hello or join me on a ride. The Beartooth Highway is in our backyard and not to be missed if you are in this neck of the woods.
Pat

Welcome, sweet looking bike.
I was out in your neck of the woods this time last year. Pretty country out that way. _________________ Ride safe.

Welcome! That sure is a pretty bike, I really like the matching side cases, very sharp.
As you already know this is a great a group of K bike people and they know just about everything there is to know about them.
Billings was the one and only overnight stop on Gwen's recent cross country endurance run on her '94 RS. Check it out in the campfire area.
Great job on posting the photos! _________________ Steve

Hey Pat,
WELCOME.
Very nice RS. I have tried other bikes but keep coming back to a K-RS.
Good part of the country for you to give that bike a good run.

Hi Pat... WELCOME !!
Great to be a "De-Lurker" eh ?? And even better to own and ride a sweet looking machine like you have there ! I know Montana is "fer piece" away from New England, but if you're ever out this way we got plenty of nice riding asphalt here too.. PLUS if you feel adventurous in the early Spring, try to come to our annual K-bike meeting in Marion Virgina.. GREAT to finally have you on-board...next time I'm in Billings I'll give you a whistle !!
Best regards, ride safe....// Ernie in NH
ps: please dont Armor-all the tires too ! _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

Thanks for the hello's. It looks like New Hampshire has a few K bikes up in those parts. My Daughter and her family live just south of Manchester a few miles and we have been out several times - beautiful country. If I can ever arrange a ride out there I will definitely look you up (John and Ernie).
