1993 k1100ltse gear oil leaking on rear rotor ,is this a big job and is there anyone besides the dealer that has the parts,thanks

thanks that was helpful,I found that when last guy put new tire back on he did not use sealer on wheel bolts ,seal looked caked with grunge but not drippy.the wheel bolts and the mount flange were wet with fresh gear oil,I cleaned up everything especially rotor and pads ,I used pipe dope spareingly.then torqued bolts,A couple days ride will verify repair.

keep the shiney side up Very Happy

Wheel bolts go in dry - that is not the source of your gear oil !

I definitely would not use any kind of pipe dope on the lugs - the important thing is to get them torqued right. You sure don't want anything on them that will make them seize - or worse, probably - let them back out.
