I was just wondering if anybody on here possibly ever chopped the exhaust on this bike right after the headers? I had a day off today and was fiddling around since nothing was open and decided to check to see how loud and/or annoying it might be. Maybe it sounds good that way idk. Just a thought _________________ GM guy, saved by the graces of BMW

Does that mean you chopped off your exhaust?
Why not just buy a Harley? _________________ Scot

Hi!
Or you can try to use K100 exhaust collector pipes and save genuine muffler.

haha, no i don't want a harley right now. I like the way this bike was built and i love the cafe racers that are made using them. But it was just a question, i'll probably keep the exhaust till i find something beefier for it, just spitballing i guess _________________ GM guy, saved by the graces of BMW

That, or find an old stock setup with cracked headers to fiddle with and make your own.
I've got one off of my '95 with 2 of the header pipes broke(cracked) at the collector. _________________ Ride safe.

My K11 seems to talk in an aussie mumbling drawl, not even we understand it sometimes, the Lav on the other hand has an Italian loud howling, as heard when your italian mother wants you home for dinner....... audible from 4 blocks away

Well, you know, they see you and they don't care, it happens all the time, so I don't see why they would care more if they hear you also, unless the noise is so annoying... _________________ I am not a number, I am a free man.
